Hampton Beer Club

Mission:

To meet once a month or as needed to sample, rate, and discuss different beers. To gather

occasionally to socialize, drink beer and homebrew beer.

Club Objectives:

  • Provide a venue for social interaction and activities centered on the foundation of beer and home brewing
  • Education about beer, brewing techniques and expanding our drinking and brewing horizons
  • Creating an awareness for the hobby and appreciation of beer drinking and home brewing
  • Promoting the responsible use and enjoyment of beer
  • Coordinate a field trip once a year to a brewery or beer festival

Article I – Purpose

The Hampton Beer Club is an organization devoted to art and science of beer, beer drinking and home brewing. The purpose of the Hampton Beer Club shall be:

  • To provide a venue for social interaction and activities centered on the foundation of drinking beer and home brewing
  • To learn about different beer, brewing techniques and expanding our brewing and drinking horizons
  • To create an awareness for the hobby and appreciation of home brewing
  • To promote the responsible use and enjoyment of beer

Article II – Powers

In furtherance of its purposes, the Hampton Beer Club shall have the power to call and hold meetings, to collect and disseminate information, assess dues, and to conduct activities that are lawful and necessary to accomplish its purposes.

Member Responsibilities:

Each member is responsible to attend monthly meetings where they must bring a six pack of one kind of beer. The six pack cannot be a kind of beer served at Model T’s Bar or a kind that has been previously sampled (See Hampton Beer Club’s List of Samples).
